The Brown ‘ohana of Wai‘ehu and the group Ola Hou, featuring Kevin, Sheldon and Ikaika Brown; Pekelo Cosma; Kahala Greig; and Geri Valdriz.
The Lake ‘ohana of Kaupo, Ukumehame, Lahaina and Wailuku, featuring kumu hula John Keola Lake.
The Veary ‘ohana of Pukalani, featuring the “golden-throated” Aunty Emma Veary.
A $10 donation is requested. Tickets are available at Hui Malama Learning Center, 375 Mahalani Street, Wailuku, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. For tickets by mail, please call (808) 283-7543.
Na Hanona Kulike ‘O Pi‘ilani Hula Halau, under the direction of na kumu hula Kapono‘ai Molitau and Sissy Lake-Farm was created in May 2003. From the bays of Pi‘ilani to the waters of Pi‘ikea, we are committed to cultural education through our keiki, ‘opio, makua, and kupuna. The continuation of our hula genealogy and cultural protocols are our foundation.
