Hana vendor workshop Sept. 30
A ‘Successful Vendor Workshop,’ will be held at the Hana Education Center, Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anna K. Ribucan, will combine “Starting a Business in Maui County” with Steve Rose’s “Taking Your Business on the Road.”
This combined seminar will include general information and requirements for starting a business in Maui County. This workshop will introduce would-be entrepreneurs to getting started in selling products at a trade show or fair booth: successful setting up, signage, selling and information on local permitting for first timers.

Beverage containers at community centers
People will now be able to recycle their beverage containers at both the Wailuku and Kihei community centers. The pilot projects will run for six months. If successful, the County may decide to expand the service to all community centers.
