HONOLULU — State Farm Insurance announced the appointments of new agents Paul MacDonald in Kahului, Chad Santiago in the Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center and Ryan Souza in Kulamalu Town Center in Pukalani.

Born and raised in New Zealand, MacDonald previously worked in sales at AAA Auto Club of Oregon prior to joining State Farm as an agency intern earlier this year. He currently serves as a Boy Scout leader of Troop 53 in Kahului.

Before becoming a State Farm agent, Santiago was a manager for Enterprise Rent-a-Car & Commercial Trucks of Oregon. Born in Wailuku, Santiago attended the University of Oregon and worked in Oregon for ten years before returning to Maui to join State Farm.

A fifth generation Maui resident, Souza was previously employed by Kamehameha Schools, Maui campus, in safety operations before joining State Farm earlier this year. Souza has coached women’s fast pitch softball at Baldwin High School for the past 15 years.

These agents will provide a variety of insurance and financial products to meet their customers’ needs, including State Farm Bank products.
