‘Twinkle of Hope’ to begin holiday season
KAPALUA — The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua will host a celebratory “Twinkle of Hope” Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 3, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Resort and community guests are welcome to gather at The Makai Pool Lawn to enjoy a variety of live entertainment and ‘ohana photo opportunities with Santa, while more than 250,000 holiday lights illuminate the hotel’s courtyard.
Guests are welcome to enjoy cookies, punch, hot chocolate and other special holiday treats. This festive holiday event is free.

Upon the conclusion of the event, children will be selected from Ka Hale A Ke Ola to pull the switch to illuminate the courtyard and holiday tree.
The entertainment for the evening will include Ahumanu, the keiki dancers of Halau Hula Ka Hale A Ke Ola, Henry Kapono and the harmony of Na Leo Lani O Maui community choir.
Early arrival is recommended; guests are advised to bring either a beach blanket or a small beach chair. Parking is available in the main hotel parking lot.
